To: The DeSantis Family:

I worked with Tom for many years at Ford Motor Co. and after retiring shared many pizzas with him at Buddy's pizza. He will be missed along with his sense of humor, many military stories and genuine caring about everyone he knew. So sorry, I could not attend his funeral because of my immune deficiency and the coronovirus.

Tom, Thank You for being a dear friend. I will forever cherish the memories and will miss you deeply.

"A few who have watched me sail away
Will miss my craft from the busy bay;
Some friendly sailboats that were anchored near,
Some loving souls that my heart held dear,
In silent sorrow will drop a tear;
But I shall have peacefully furled my sail
In mooring sheltered from storm and gale
And greeting the friends who have sailed before
O’er the unknown sea to the unknown shore.,"............... unknown

Thanks for the memories and my earliest was going to visit in Brooklyn and you had this big tape recorder reel to reel and we would sing , laugh, and you just record Ed us with whatever we said, your white love bug , pizza in NJ and Ford was always the best car. There were the helicopter rides you flew dangerously low over our house and the FUN times on the lake with the family.
You always had a story too! That’s my story of moments treasured with and will miss you.

Dear Family,

So sorry to hear of Toms passing. I have lots of memories flying with Tom, and the get togethers at his home on the lake. Especially the trip to the restaurant that ended with the pontoon's engine failure. Tom was always the life of the party and a gracious host. He will be missed.

Our sincerest sympathy,

Joe and Jeanne Horwath
