Hi Frances i doubt you would remember but  i drove mom and dad up to Toronto to see Vangie back in late 70s, 
Vangie and mom were sisters , i was shocked and saddened to see Wayne had died i just turned 70 this month he was just 6 months older than me, i still remember going up to the cottage that summer, i lost the little one i was with for 40 years 8 years ago its terrible to go through but you survive. Take care.

Our heartfelt thoughts and wishes go out to Fran, Meghan, Anthony, Harper, Alex and Addison and the greater Timmins family. It's so tough losing a friend like Wayne so we can't even imagine what you must be going through right now. Christine and I will miss so many things but mostly the way he planned a special evening meal with friends and the way he spent the day preparing and anticipating the whole event. It was more than an art. He was totally dedicated and devoted to creating the best experience for family and guests and fussed over details to make sure it was right. Then we'd all sit down with some lovely wines and talk about the lake and legends passed. Then, if we stayed a little later, Wayne would share a rum and coke and we'd talk some more. The most precious of times that we thought could never end. Rest in peace mate. You're forever in our hearts.

Our condolences to the Timmins’ family. Wayne was a true friend and a Four Mile legend. It was always  great to get together with him and exchange old stories of our youth. Wayne was a generous host and enjoyed a good party. He was a great talker and a better listener he will truly be missed.

Wayne was a beauty. I remember him since I was a kid and he and Doug were the cool guys of 4 mile lake. We shared many a cocktail looking over the lake over the years and I always admired Wayne as a person of integrity and full of life. He will be deeply missed. See you on the other side my friend. Wayne was a wonderful friend and part of some great Four Mile memories.  I wonder if Aunt Sheila knew she was giving us such a great life with such an amazing friends like Wayne, Doug and dozens of others when she brought us to the lake more than 1/2 a Century ago❣️

This was such a surprise.  What a life well lived. I was very lucky to be apart of this life.  All the work, travel, fine dining, golfing, fishing    , and building.  The thing I will miss the most is the glass of fine wine and a cigar. The in-depth  conversations with the laughs, omg.  Wayne “cared” and I think that was his best trait.  All the friends, families and colleagues associated with his attention and love. I wanted to play “Pugulucci” just one more time.  Have fun up there in your new place. You are missed.

Met this fine gentleman a couple of times. Quiet spoken gentleman and that’s a regret for Wilbur and I.  Alex  and sister represents what a wonderful family Wayne made for this world. sorry on your loss, please accept our deepest sympathies.  We thought of Wayne (& Doug) many times over the many years that we’ve been at Four Mile Lake; the Timmins brothers were some of the first and best folks that we met when arrived at the lake for the first time in the mid 1960s.

Our condolences to the entire Timmins family. I had the pleasure of fishing in the Four Mile Lake fishing derby for the first time this past August. I had an amazing day and had had a long talk with Wayne. He was a true gentleman!!!What a legacy that Wayne has left that will be carried on for years to come I’m sure.

Unfortunately, I am not in this picture because I took it, but this is how I will always remember Wayne.  He was not an accomplished golfer, but that never stopped him from savoring every moment with his buddies while laughing all the way.  That may have been the most important lesson he ever taught me.  
We moved in and out of each other's professional life for over 30 years and Wayne's love for life was always the constant.  Quick to smile and laugh.  Always the gentleman.  Respectful, generous and kind. 
The world is a lesser place without you my friend.

Sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing, a lifetime of memories at four mile lake.  Wayne always had a huge smile and ready to make you laugh .  Wayne and Doug always eager to lend a hand.  Many memories of various boats speeding by( too many to mention all sizes and shapes) usually heading to North end to fish!  Love to Fran, Alex , Meaghan and Harper  , Doug, Kim and the entire Timmins, Garrigan clans!!  He will be missed !! Love patti

Wayne my dear friend you and I been entwined in one fashion or another for almost 35yrs in each others lives, you have been a friend, a boss at different times a mentor always, then an a member of our little start up. You have always been a gentleman, your love of food and expansive list of places to eat at, your  sense of humor, golfing events ( I avoided the fishing) and so much more you will remain forever embedded in our memories.
