Bill was strong in his faith and he and Barbara became devoted members of the White Lake Presbyterian Church twenty years ago, and served as an Elder of the church. In his free time, Bill greatly enjoyed learning about cars and working on them. He was especially proud of the many Corvettes he owned and drove over the years. Bill also had a passion for travel - some of his fondest memories were made on hunting trips with his brothers-in-law and on the cross-country road trip that he took to Alaska.
