David Arnold Trenkamp

David was survived by his wife Nancy Trenkamp of 48 years. His children Deborah Schwab, David T. Trenkamp, Michael Trenkamp, Chris Trenkamp, Melissa Trenkamp, his grand-children Paula Schwab, Stephen Ellis, Megan Robles, two great-grandchildren Vincent Ellis and Landon Robles and two great-great grandchildren. His is also survived by Siblings Walter “Slim” Trenkamp, Orville “Dick” Trenkamp and Juanita Klear.

David was preceded in death by his parents Walter Trenkamp and Ester Maag and his siblings Eugene Trenkamp, Roger Trenkamp and Anna Marie Trenkamp Brown.

David enjoyed playing cards, horseshoes, and was a member of the AM Vets Post 1313 of Napoleon. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Holgate for nearly 50 years where he worked as a Eucharist laymen taking communion to the sick.

Visitation will be held at the Snyder Funeral Home in Holgate Sunday April 14, 2013 from 3pm-8pm, and Monday 3pm-8pm. Funeral mass will held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Holgate Tuesday 10:30am.

Memorials can be made to the American Lung Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
