Lorena Busch

She was born February 26, 1914 in Monroe Township, Henry County, Ohio to Martin and Minnie (Buntz) Hoff. On December 25, 1938, she married August Baden and he passed away on March 29, 1949. On April 5, 1953, she married Earl H. Busch and he passed away on August 8, 1990.

Lorena was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ of Holgate, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir. She was a previous member of the Sunshine Club in McClure, Ohio.

Surviving are a son, Ron (Sandra) Baden of Naples, Florida and a daughter, Mary (Roger) Wallen of Monroeville, Ohio; 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great- great -grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Emma Arps and Leona Frakes.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Holgate, Ohio with Rev. Jane Hillman, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends will be received on Monday, August 22, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.

The family suggest memorials be made to St. John’s United Church of Christ.
