Beverly Iris Vander Yacht, age 87, of Holland passed away Friday, July 8, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Wayne, on March 20, 2022. Her parents, Albert and Elizabeth Moomey, her sister and brother in law Jacqueline and Frank Wierenga, and brother James Moomey.
Beverly was larger than life and every day was an adventure. Her passions were tennis, golf and cards. She loved working puzzles and making fabulous dinners for her family. After her retirement from West Ottawa Transportation she and Wayne enjoyed their winters in FL.
She is survived by her daughter Jane and son Eric. Grandchildren Amy (David) Brasser, Cory (Holly) Vander Yacht, Jared (Nicole) Duquette, Jillian (Matthew) Kirouac , 6 great - grandchildren, sister Delores Wingard, sisters - in - law, Robin Moomey and Maryann Langston; nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday July 29, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Lake Shore Memorial, 11939 James Street.
