I met Chet about 15 years ago through the TCGMC. What a wonderful man. He was always smiling and patient with everyone. He loved sharing his stories and he loved a good conversation. He will be missed deeply.

As a member of the Tulip City Gem and Mineral Club, I always looked for Chet at the meetings. I could show him a rock I wasn't sure about ...Chet was able to ID it most of the time. He was patient with my questions. I have missed seeing him since Covid began and meetings canceled. I will keep my memory of his gentle smile and mourn the loss.
