Its been a YEAR today that you left us. You are very much MISSED and I still feel you around in my life, OMG, I still can't believe you are gone. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. Until we meet again my friend...

I miss you. Every time I start to over react to something  I still hear you tell me "Babe you're being a hot mess." And I still internally respond "I know.  I can't help it." Then I see you smile at me and say "I know.  I love you." And it usually still calms me down.  What I wouldn't give to hear you tell me that one last time though.  I think most of the time I'm ok now,  but I'll always love and miss you.  You were the first person I felt I could be completely open with about everything.  

Thanks for being the best best friend I've ever had.

Hey Christopher, Just wanted to let you know that I miss you....Mom

While I was cleaning my wallet completely out today I found a photo pass thing shoved in a corner. I pulled it out and decided to check it out even though it's from 13 months ago.  I can still hear you say "throw that away.  Those pictures are a rip off!" as I put it in my wallet. The picture was still available.  I don't think we ever even looked at it before, but I bought it today.  I had to. It was the last picture of us. Probably one of the last pictures of you.  I miss you. I always will.

I cannot change the past. I wish I could. But I can only try and influence the future. The work I do, Chris, will always be done with you in my heart.

Hey Chris....Just want you to know that I think of you all the time...Izzy went swimming the other day...it was sooo funny....Im sure you were watching from Heaven...I miss you

Happy birthday Christopher! I love you and miss you so much. I wish we were celebrating your birthday together. Elliott wants to do something today to remember you. I think we might go to Chuck E Cheese's since we are in Missouri right now. And Elliott has fond memories of you and the one in Grand Rapids. I told you once it felt like I had always loved you. Now I know I always will.

Today is Mothers day. I won't be greeted by you saying happy mothers day,or making me pancakes I hope you found both your grandma's and are celebrating in Heaven.

Next week we are celebrating yours and Izzys birthday. Still can't find waffle cone ice cream. I seen it once right after you left. 
The leaves are growing on the trees and the grass seems like it always needs to be  mowed.
My heart aches for you constantly  and I wonder if there was anything more I could have done to change what happened that day. Trying to find the new normal...always love you....

Going through stuff today for our big move, I found one of your shirts I didn't even realize I had. It still smells like you. I miss you so much. It's so funny how aware I am of your absence, yet at the same time I sometimes still want to reach for my phone and call you to tell you something silly, or to ask your opinion on something. Looking at places online to live, reminds me so much of you and that day that we spent a long time doing it before you finally said "Babe, I want to live wherever you want, just tell me where to sign." And got up and walked away.  I wish you were still here to sign that lease with me Christopher.  I miss you. And I love you.

I miss you Chris. I still shed tears when I think of you and that's everyday. I still rememeber when you said we would have Jay and 3 great danes sleeping with us in bed lol that was just too funny. My heart is broken and it will never be the same. People say it will get better but it doesn't we just adapt. You took a part of me but thats okay because its meant for you. It's almost Elliott's birthday.  We're going to the arcade and bowling this weekend to celebrate. We both wish you were here.  We love you Christopher. Always.

Elliott's playing with the Christmas present from you.  You were right, he loves it.  He told me he wished you were here to play with him, though.  Me too.  When you picked it out, I was sure you'd be here Christmas morning to watch him open it.  He says he's always going to take good care of it because it's his last present from you.  And he loves and misses you.  I do too, Christopher.  Always.  Watching Elliott miss you is really hard.  He talks about how much fun he had with you a lot.  And how funny you were.  I wish he had a picture of you guys together to look at.  He loves the one of you and me by the river though. And one on the ferris wheel. He looks at them both a lot.  I'm glad he's talking about you though.  It's good for us both.  We both love you and miss you.

You know I was never good at expressing what I was feeling but I miss you Chris and I'm going to give it a shot. My heart will always be yours, and I know that because it beats only thinking of the memories I've had with you since the day I met you. I don't know if it makes sense but I pray to God he let's you see what my heart holds for you. The moment you left half my life felt was taken from me. You we're my other half Christopher. I remember you would say you didn't want kids but with me it changed cause you wanted me as the mother of your children. If only it was meant to be. We made it through Thanksgiving without you.  It was hard, but we did it. One thing I'm thankful for is that I got the opportunity to love you, and that you loved me.  Thank you for that.
