Cruz Gutierrez

Mrs. Gutierrez was born in Waco, Texas November 24, 1928. She was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Holland and St. Ambrose in Delton, MI.

Preceding her in death were her son and grandson, LeRoy and John Gutierrez; son-in-law and grandson Ron and Richard Ross; daughter-in-law Val Herrera.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Salvador Gutierrez; children, Salvador E. Gutierrez, Elizabeth (Maurilio) Hernandez, Robert (Eva) Gutierrez, Victor Gutierrez, Betty Ross, Annette (Chris) Bethke; 20 Grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister Mary Vicencio; daughter-in-law Ruth Gutierrez; sister-in-law Petra Garcia;; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends

A mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Gutierrez will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 171 W. 13th St., Holland. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00noon until the time of the services at St. Francis on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice or to the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Foundation.
