Dale A. Gemmen, aged 71 passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018, after battling cancer. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Marcia (Bakker), mother Gladys, sons Matthew (Dawn), Derek (Bethany) and Steven (Kelly). Loving grandfather to Skyler, Stone, Summer, Canfield, Dane, Sophie, Anya and Sidney Gemmen. Dale was a dear brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, great-grandfather and friend. He is preceded in death by his father P. Ray Gemmen and brother Earl.
Dale was an active member of North Holland Reformed Church and was anxious to see their construction completed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the North Holland Reformed Building Fund. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 16 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St, Holland, MI 49424. A service to honor Dale’s life is 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 17 at North Holland Reformed Church, 12050 New Holland St., Holland, MI 49424.
