While I never had the pleasure of meeting Dave, I've heard his story from much loved members of his family over the years. I'm keeping all those he loved in my prayers now and in the weeks to come as you grieve. May God bring you peace and comfort.

Growing up, really enjoyed the family gathers, especially w/ Dave... chatting about football and baseball. He loved sharing stories about Ryan Sandberg on the Cubs. In addition to the sports dialog, always looked forward to our competitive Ping-Pong matches... we had some really awesome games. Dave had game. Great memories!

As you gather to honor Dave's memory, I will be traveling to Ft. Myers Beach and the home away from home we all love. We will miss you and hold close to our hearts such wonderful memories shared over the years. Gail, may our good Lord keep you, watch over you and give you peace as you celebrate a life well lived.

The Taylor family, Dave the eldest, were our neighbors growing up, from 4 years of age I remember them all fondly. His dad's Roses... Playing in the street until the street lights came on. Riding bikes at Hope College campus. His sisters and little Calvin who stands head and shoulders above them now. Memories to last. Praying for you Gail, and your wonderful legacy of the Taylor family.
