My whole family is so lucky and grateful to have had Don in our lives. I first met Don when I was in my late teens. He was there for me during some difficult times in my life. He always had something positive to say. There were so many great parties and memories we had made together. Don was a great hunter, fisherman, and a really great cook. He always knew how to bring people together over an amazing meal. RIP Don. We send our deepest condolences to your family and friends.

To Keli, the Van Liere Family, especially Don's girls...I was truly stunned to hear of Don's passing and will miss him and his wit very much. You could not help but notice Don loved life...he was quick with a smile, a joke, and a laugh, no matter what you were doing. Much of the time, his sense of humor set the tone for the days work. Although I have hunted and fished all my life, it was Don who introduced me to turkey hunting. Not just turkey hunting, but the whole experience of calling Tom's off the roost, breakfast, mid-day trout fishing, and mushroom hunting. Sometimes I wasn't sure if we were hunting turkeys of mushrooms, but it didn't matter...it was great fun. Don touched a lot of lives and I know all that knew him will miss him dearly. May God's grace and peace keep you until Don's memories brighten your hearts once more.
