

Don was born in Holland to Justin and Vida Kronemeyer and later attended and graduated from Holland High School. He served during World War II in the US Army Air Force as an air traffic controller primarily in New Guinea and briefly in Japan. He began his career as a cabinet maker and then worked in agricultural sales and sales management where he spent most of his working days. He married the love of his life Donna Arens and they had 68 wonderful years together as they raised two fine sons. Don enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling with his wife. They spent many winters on South Padre Island in Texas as they toured with their fifth-wheel trailer.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Justin and Vida Kronemeyer and his sisters, Nan Norlin and Judith VanHarn.
He is survived by his wife Donna; sons Jon D. Kronemeyer and David L. (Kathy) Kronemeyer; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Don is also survived by his brother-in-laws Paul Arens of Holland and Edwin VanHarn of Colorado and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at Central Park Reformed Church, 1175 Floral Street, Holland, MI 49423. Rev. Kevin Kleinheksel presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Holland.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland or to the Central Park Reformed Church.
