Don was a devoted father, husband, and brother. His life was defined by his love for his family. He was a member of the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam War. Don loved to spend time with family, fish, hunt, and absolutely loved to watch the Detroit Tigers. Don attended Central Wesleyan Church and believed in the Lord.
Don is survived by: son, Tom (Laura) Roberts; step-son, Troy Nienhuis; and half-brother, Dave (Gall) Vanden Bosch.
Don was preceded in death by: his beloved wife, Sharon Roberts; father, Forrest Roberts; and mother, Donna Vanden Bosch.
A funeral service will be held at Lakeshore Memorial Services, located at 11939 James St., Holland, Michigan, 49424. The service is scheduled for January 15, 2026, starting at 4:30 pm.
