Sending my condolences to all the family, from myself and my mother Dorothy Plummer who passed away on the 16th May 2020

It's very sad to hear the news of Dorothy but we have lots of fond memories of her.
My first memory of Dorothy was taking me to Sunday school. She was one of the teachers. I was only two!

Over the years we made trips to the states and had fantastic times with the whole family. Visiting many places.
Dorothy made several trips to England. Sometimes on her own and sometimes with her children or grandchildren. One very special trip to us was a surprise visit for our wedding.
Dorothy was very much interested in Genealogy and we spent many hours researching and exchanging information!

 Just want to express my sympathy in the loss of your dear mother.
 She was a dear heart. I remember working with her at Haven Park many, many years ago. She was so kind and caring always. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. 
Lifting you all in prayers during this difficult time and the days ahead.

Gram meeting one of our dogs (Bosco) for the first time.  He was so gentle with her, he walked her wherever she wanted to go and sat near her, just leaning into her with affection.  It was the sweetest thing.  She kept rubbing his head and saying "Good Boy."  He was in heaven.

Sending love and thoughts in fond memory of Aunty Dorothy.  

My earliest memory is in 1985, just five years old visiting and staying in a Lake Michigan, running away from the waves rolling up the beach...some fantastic times! Then later in 1996 visiting again and seeing all our family....spitting watermelon pips! 

But the best by far was that magical box every Christmas with the most amazing, unique tree decoration for each of us....I still have all of these and now, my own children love asking about them...there’s no other tree like it!

Very softly spoken but a very elegant lady with a very infectious smile, as i remember, 
Every year our first Christmas present was always a parcel from the states from Aunty Dorothy, excitement as the postman delivered this in anticipation of what was inside the box, each year she would send us each a decoration for the tree, which i still have all and which goes on the tree every year, 
Fond memories of her visists to England staying with my nan, also our visit to Michigan in 1985 when i was 13yrs, the perfect host,

So sorry to hear about Aunty Dorothy . Thinking of you all with love and prayers. I remember Aunty Dorothy -such a beautiful smile; with very fond memories; especially with regards to her visits to England when visiting my Nan Edna Llewellyn; one visit bringing Melody. 
I also remember visiting the 'Windmills' when visiting yourselves.

Condolences to the whole Batema family on the passing of Dorothy.  I always enjoyed going to your house (usually with Don) and enjoying your mother's hospitality and listening to her beautiful English accent.

Gram was watching my brother and me, and as kids do, we were squabbling. I don't remember what we had been saying but Gram was sitting at our dining room table reading a book, glancing at the two of us. Andrew, who knew I thought burping aloud was gross, let out a rather impressive burp and prefaced it with a, "to you!" Remark.

Gram's hand shot out so fast! She was a karate master; she grabbed Andrew's shoulder. Andrew panicked, sure that he was going to get the biggest grama-beat down for burping in his life.

He was apologizing profusely when Gram slowly smiled and nodded towards Andrew's bedroom, "You left your light on. Please turn it off."

Both Andrew and I thought we were done for. Our fighting stopped and Gram went back to reading her book.
