Doug was born in Holland July 22, 1954 to Donald and Beverly (Bos) Harper. He was a lifelong resident of area, working for Auto Value (Lamb Automotive) for many years prior to retirement.
In his spare time, Doug love to collect records, and could be found watching sports of all kind, or visiting markets and auctions.
He was preceded in death by his brother Kurt Harper.
Doug is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cheryl (Fuder) Harper; son Christopher Harper; his brother Greg (Sally) Harper; brother-in-law Brian (Sandy) Fuder; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Doug’s life will be Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 2-4pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
