My granddaughter, Gianna Rojas from Orlando, Florida, met Elizabeth several summers ago in Michigan visiting her great grandma, my mother-in-law, Karen Lane. Gianna spoke often about Elizabeth. They became pen pals and kept in touch. It became my duty to tell Gianna about Elizabeth’s passing. I have no words for your loss and for Gianna’s struggle to grasp this. She said she had wanted to be Elizabeth because of how much she looked up to her. Our family is so heartbroken for your loss. We continue to pray. God bless you. Kim Lane

I love you all even if I’m all the way in California I will keep your family in my prayers as well as her friends and all who knew her. She was such a bright, happy kind and caring girl.

We are so sorry for your loss! I remember watching her play with Melissa and Eric’s kids when we would visit over the years and seeing her grow into a beautiful young lady. Our prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

I helped with spelling words in Elizabeth's 2nd grade class. She is a classmate of my daughter, Tristen Lang. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, hard worker, and a good friend to Tristen. She is a beautiful child with a huge heart. Tristen and I are sending our love.
