Emilia Rivera

Emilia was born in San Francisco, CA, August 19, 1926 to Jesus and Maria (de la Luz Alvarez) Rivera. She worked for Chris Craft for many years, and will be remembered by family and friends as a strong Christian woman.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maria De La Luz Hernandez; 2 sons, Felipe Garcia and Jose Santos Hernandez; and a son-in-law Guillermo Martinez.

Emilia is survived by her children, Arturo (Loretta) Gomez, Alicia G. Martinez, Raul (Elsa Alisea) Gomez, and Abel Garcia; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, May 20, 2022 from 6:00 PM - 8:00PM at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland MI 49424. A Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, May 21 at 11:00 AM at Lakeshore Memorial Services, officiated by Pastor Jacob Gomez. Burial will be in North Holland Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her honor can be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
