Like my sister, Peggy, I too have many memories of hamburgers on the grill at Jason & Esther's house. Lots of memories of my folks playing pinochle with Jason and Esther at the kitchen table. With all of the times that they got together to play that game, and I tagged along, you would think I would have some inkling of how to play it, but I don't! I was always busy watching the little glass bird in the front room tip forward and drink the red colored water. :) I loved Esther's quick and ready smile and have many memories of her and my mom laughing together over one thing or another. I was honored when I walked into the visitation for Jason to have Esther point and me and give me her big smile. Our prayers are with you all as we know how it is to mourn a much loved Mom.

Dear Dave, Pam and Pattie,
We want to express our sympathy in the passing of your Mom and to tell you once again how much we loved them and appreciated their open hearts and arms as we lived upstairs next door at John Zoerhof's home in the very early 60's. Working with your Dad at Baker Furniture brings back many good memories and at home, both your Mom and Dad were so kind to us "kids". We have to smile, thinking that now Esther can talk freely with Jason and she can make up for the time that they were separated. Their quiet and wonderful faith in their Savior, Jesus, is now a wonderful reality- in His presence forevermore! We love you guys!

Thinking of the Ebels family and sharing in their loss of Esther. We were neighbors for many years as our young family grew into adults. John Zoerhof and Jason were always eager to help young homeowners improve their homes and pass along the stories of the past. Esther had a smile that never quit and was a gentle soul. Jason and Esther, I think you would be pleased to see the new life that is residing in your previous home. At one time Jason and Esther were the senior members on our block and now we are! I hope we can be as good neighbors as they were. Rest In Peace, Esther, as you are now with your Jason.

So many great memories of Jason and Esther doing "hamburgers on the grill" at our house or theirs with Mom and Dad. I grew up knowing Jason and Esther. Sorry for your lost Pam and Rick and family. Great Folks..
