Wow what a great neighbor, good friend and all around super guy !
I have had the pleasure of being Floyd's neighbor for the last 34 years. I on many times have said, "Floyd if you ever move I'm going to buy the house next to you wherever that is". Floyd and Isla's picture should be in the dictionary under "Good Neighbor". All 5 of my children loved to stop by Floyd's house, he was always ready with and ice cream bar, pushup or something sweet. My dog used to go to his back door and look through the slider window because Floyd when give him a treat. I couldn't begin to count how many times Floyd mowed my yard, snow blow my driveway, sprayed my lawn ! The man just loved to give !
Floyd God has blessed my family and me so very much through you and Isla thank you thank you so very very much. And some day I plan on moving right next door to you again !

Floyd DeBoer and I spent many happy moments together growing up. He was always happy and fun to be with. He loved playing baseball and softball. We had great times at cottages in the summed at the lake. We spent summers working on our Grandfather’s farm in the muck.

Isla and Melissa,

You have my deepest sympathy in the unexpected passing of Floyd. My memories of Floyd include both of you as I think back on the many years I was one of Melissa's babysitters. I always appreciated being welcomed into your home. In later years I would on occasion see him when in stopped by Request Foods to visit Jack. He always seemed to be happy and upbeat.

With my prayers and love,

Connie Knap
