Gerald "Jerry" Bergman

Gerald “Jerry” Bergman, age 71, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Jerry was a member of South Olive Christian Reformed Church and a former member of Pine Creek Christian Reformed Church. He was very active in the cadet program for 37 years and served as the head counselor. Jerry worked for Chris-Craft for 22 years and also worked for Dean Transportation.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents George and Jessie Bergman, and by his brother James Bergman. He is survived by Judy his wife of 51 years, by his sons Bob (Lynnae) Bergman and Kevin (Kari) Bergman; and by his grandson Ross Bergman. He is also survived by his brother Burt (Julie) Bergman and by a niece, a nephew and many cousins.

A service to celebrate Jerry’s life will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at South Olive Christian Reformed Church, 6425 120th Ave., Holland, Michigan. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Monday, June 6, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland, Michigan. Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery in Holland.
