Gerald was born April 27, 1929 to John R. and Jane Stryker in Lowell. He worked as a press operator for Bristol Meyers for many years. Gerald was a member of Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church and proudly served our country during the Korean War in the United States Marines.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Joan Stryker in 2014;
Gerald is survived by his son Gordon (Carol) Stryker; grand daughter Allison (Joe) Nies; and by great grandchildren Mackenzie Nies, Kaylee Stryker and Gabriel Nies; brothers Albert Stryker and George (Betty) Stryker; Many extended family and friends.
A private gathering by invitation to celebrate Gerald’s life will be Monday, May 4, 2020 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
