Gwen was a proud native of the Caribbean Islands. She was born in Antigua and later raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Gwen was a resident of Holland for over 20 years and a long-time employee at Holland Hospital. She loved music, cooking great island food, gardening, dancing to reggae music, and spending time with family. She enjoyed being a mother and grandma most of all. Everyone who knew her—as a mother, grandmother, friend, employee, or neighbor—loved her dearly. She always had a story about growing up in the Caribbean Islands. We will all miss her deeply.
Gwen is survived by: her sons, Kevin Clemens and Demajo Clemens; daughter, Catrice Hawkins; grandchildren, Zion Clemens, Khalil Hawkins, Kylan Hawkins, Kevin Clemens Jr., Kingston Clemens, Ariana Clemens, and Adore Clemens; along with many brothers and sisters.
