Helen Ritter

Helen was born and raised in the Detroit area, one of four daughters of Lawrence and Magdalena Koziara. She married John Ritter in 1946, and together they raised their children, Bunny and Jack. In her spare time, Helen enjoyed beading, making all kinds of beautiful jewelry. She also enjoyed reading and collecting antiques. Several years after John passed away, Helen moved to Holland to Freedom Village to be closer to her daughter, and very quickly fell in love with the area. She will be missed by many. Helen’s family would like to thank the staff at Freedom Village for their loving care and friendship these last ten years, and to Hospice of Holland for their care during the last days of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her sisters, Bernice Rovner, Virginia Kuzenko, and Irene Moore.

Many nieces and nephews, including Gail Stern, Niagra, Joyce Vauris, Larry Kuzenko, and Brad, David, and Bryn Anne Moore.
