

Preceding him in death was his wife of 57 years, Margie Lorraine Yff in 2009. Also his brothers, Peter Yff, Dr. John Yff, and a sister, Katherine Prince.
Henry, known as Hank to friends and family, is survived by his children, Brenda and John Posthuma of Spring lake, Sandra and Kevin Klynstra of Zeeland, Henry (Jim) Yff of Zeeland, Wayne and Phyllis Yff of Holland, and Kim and Ron Essink of Hamilton; a Sister, Sarah and Jay Volkers of Grand Rapids. Hank has many grandchildren and many many great-grandchildren.
Born in Roseland Illinois, lived in Evergreen Park, Illinois. Graduated from Chicago Christian High School, served in the Army during the Korean War, married and 5 children later, moved to Holland in 1969. Hank was a talented cabinet maker and started his own business, Hyvaco, making countertops at the same time running Sunny Brook Cottage Courts along side Margie, eventually retiring, moved to his beloved Minong, Wisconsin, Margie's health issues drew them back to Zeeland. After losing the love of his life, he spent time at Oak Crest and Maple Woods, his battle with cancer ended at Providence in Zeeland.
Hank was respected in the business community, a hard working man, a loving husband, a wonderful provider for his children, known as Boompa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to tease and had a wicked sense of humor, he will be greatly missed!
On Father's Day there will be a private Family graveside service.
