I remember always going to great grandmas house and eat the m&ms in the machine

One of my memories is when we took pictures at her farm, and me and my cousin Abby got to wear her wedding dress, which was super cool. I also just learned that she got married at the age of 17, which sounds super crazy now. But what was super sweet, was when we were at the nursing home and grandpa was talking to her, and she wasn't talking or opened her eyes at all, until grandpa started talking, and she opened her eyes and said  love you to him.  

I love great grandma because shes nice, sweet, and loves all her children, grandchildren, and great grand children 

Humming,  bird are the first that comes to mined .  Because she always has a lot of humming bird feeders  and a lot of flowers. She also has a lot of toys that her children used to play with. She really liked her baseball games and her Game shows. I always loved going to her house

 So it looks like I finally decided on what I was going to say when this time came I can remember when I first met you you were independent you were that wife that I dream to be in the near future your abode you’re a funny and you may come into work every day worth it as time went on I seen your eyes get more and so did my heart this is an a goodbye this is definitely a see you later .  I will definitely miss your face I will definitely miss your smile but what I will miss the most is our conversations about life and marriage and happiness that’s what I miss the most with you I love you I’ll see you later  ❤️

Aunt Herena is the top of the heap when it comes to personalities.  Always smiling, always willing to give a hug, always wanting to help, serve, or at least spend time with others.  Nothing but the fondest of memories.  I took it for granted that we lived so close to so many relatives.  It was so easy to ride a bike or snowmobile to visit...  As the years go by and the distance increased, it was not so easy and time was tougher to get.  It is times like these we remember why we are who we are and the people who helped shape our lives.

The Dubbink family is extremely blessed to include such wonderful people.  I am awfully glad Aunt Herena is part of it.  Someday soon, I plan to hug her and see her smile again.  Until then, I will miss you, Aunt Herena....  and so will many others.

So many memories! 2 carloads of kids getting out of school early and going to the Allegan Fair on kids day, 9 kids holding hands walking down downtown Holland shopping, working with family on the farm baling and milking cows, Sunday nite card parties with a houseful of family.  We knew we were safe, and loved when ever we were in your care.  You will never leave the special place in my heart.... Thank you Aunt Herena for everything  ...All my heart..Your niece Dorothy

My beautiful mom. Strength like a lion up until the very end.  My mama duck who cared about everyone is dancing in heaven.  There is such a void but we carry a piece of you with us in our hearts. Because I get the last word this time, I love you more.
