Ines was born in Coama, Puerto Rico on January 21, 1935 where she was raised. She later moved to Chicago, IL and spent most of her life there raising her two daughters, Ines and Evelyn, before moving to West Michigan to be closer to her loved ones.
Ines will be remembered as the fiercely resilient, strong, independent woman she was. She was an extremely hard worker and took pride in every aspect of her life. She shared her big heart with anyone that was in need or was willing to share a few moments of time with her. She gave away so much love in her lifetime, which was not always easy, but she was always willing to extend a helping hand to a stranger walking down the street, or to her closest loved ones. She could be as tough as nails when she needed to be, people did not mistake her kindness for weakness; She was unapologetically strong, both physically and spiritually. She loved her big family and all of her great grandchildren and would brag on them any chance she got. Ines spent her life loving others, caring for those that needed caring for, and never faltering in her faith. Her life will leave a lasting impact on all that knew her.
Ines is survived by her 2 daughters, Evelyn Rodriguez (Eddie) and Ines (Alfonso) Rodriguez, grandchildren Natasha (Mitch) Smith, Joshua Rodriguez, Liz Rodriguez, Nida Rodgriguez, Emily (Phil) Hoek, Sarah Rodriguez; 11 great grandchildren, Kylie, Sawyer, Coco, Audrey, Serena, Londyn, Bella, Aliana, Teyo, and Aiyana; sister Hilda (Trini) Gomez, nieces and nephew Wendy, Janet, and Efrain; many extended family and friends.
