Jack J Marcus Jr.

He was a lifetime member of Trinity Reformed Church, was on the Holland bowling league, retired from Haworth and was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Christine Marcus.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty; by his children Kevin and Sara Marcus of Cedar Springs, Nancy and Dan Baker of Holland, Chris and Marc Sanchez of Zeeland. Jack is also survived by grandchildren Leah and Matt Brooks, Ashley Baker, Amanda Baker, Aaron Baker, Kari and Justin Carl, Briana Sanchez, Katherine Krankall, Madison Sanchez, Justin Sanchez; by great grandchildren Karley Riddle, Raelynne Shoemaker and Jonathon Brooks. He also survived by his extended family Margarita Gomez, Tony and Janie Sanchez, Jeff and Naomi Beagle, Amanda and Marcos Ortega, Melissa Ramos, Eric and Gracie Stewart, Jessie Johnson and by many friends. Jack is also survived by his sister Betty Douma and brother-in-law John Kunen along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 16 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, located at 11939 James Street in Holland. The funeral service will be at 12 noon following the visitation. Burial will be at Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
