Jan Elizabeth Boerman

Jan was born in Skowhegan, Maine June 13, 1959 to Pennell and Geneva Preble. She attended Old Saybrook High School and achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. Jan was a natural caregiver and enjoyed kayaking, motorcycling and camping among many other outdoor activities. Jan had a deep love of family and building lasting memories for all to cherish. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death was her father, Pennell Preble.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Erica Ramirez, Tricia Crawford, and SueEllen (William) Childs; 9 grandchildren; her mother, Geneva Preble; siblings Randy Preble, Dana (Loretta) Preble, Sharon (Thomas) Leone, and Gary (Monica) Preble; many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

A memorial gathering to honor Jan’s life will take place Friday, August 4, 2017 from 4-7:00pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
