

Originally from Colorado, Joe eventually settled in Zeeland and raised his family.
Joe was known for being direct, honest, and had a heart of gold. His strength, passion, and loyalty always stood out. Joe loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was wise - always giving great advice. Joe enjoyed sports, particularly coaching football and spending time with family fishing and hunting. In addition to his friends and family, Joe had a special soft spot for his dogs – Abbie, Diesel, Maggie, Lucy, and Pete.
Joe was preceded in death by his stillborn daughter Daughn Fusco.
Joe is survived by his wife of 14 years, Leslie; daughter Karissa and son Joshua. He is survived by grandchildren Isaiah and Divina; step-sons Martin, Andrew J. Richards, and Zachary; as well as several step-grandchildren. Joe is also survived by his brother Jonathan (Emily); niece Josephine; and nephew Alex; mother Suzi and step-father Charlie Song; father Robert Fusco and step-mother Sandra. Step-siblings Nivia and Miguel also survive him; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service for Joe will be held on Saturday, May 20 at Hope Church - 8265 Felch St. in Zeeland. The family will receive visitors at 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. A light luncheon will follow.
