

John was born September 15, 1949, twin brother of James to John Michael Sr and Gisela (Messenbrink) Pavlinik in Passaic, NJ. John was raised in Clifton, NJ, where he attended Clifton Cerebral Palsy Center, the daughters of Miriam Workshop (Clifton) , Mid Hudson Workshop Poughkeepsie (NY), and Kandu Workshop (Holland, MI). He enjoyed girls' basketball (even attending a Harlem Globetrotters game in Holland), coloring, puzzles, Yahtzee, action movies, horses and horseback riding, watching airplanes and construction, and playing games with caregivers who lately were referring to him as Cowboy John.
He was preceded in death by his father, John (1997), and mother Gisela (1979)
He is survived by his twin brother James Pavlinik and wife Claudia (Olsen) Pavlinik; Nephew Aleks Pavlinik and Carolyn (Ostrander) Pavlinik, from NY,; Niece Adriane (Pavlinik) Sagal and Joshua Sagal;
Grand nephews Dylan and Logan from SC; and Niece Lacey (Pavlinik) Geerlings and Dan Geerlings and Grand Nieces Haylee and Harper Geerlings from Holland/ many extended family and friends.
A time of visitation to celebrate John’s life will be October 15, 2022, from 1-3:00pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St, Holland, MI 49424
The interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Garfield, NJ.
