Kassidy Lee Aikens

Kassidy Lee Aikens was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Born to Suzanne (Bradford) and Vaughn Aikens on September 14, 1989 (a birthday she shares with her grandmother, Marie,) Kassidy was the oldest of two children. She loved dance, gymnastics, orchestra, and had a passion for music that she shared with her dad from a young age. Kassidy was a member of GEMS throughout elementary and middle school and has been an faithful member at Peace Lutheran Church for several years. She was a talented artist like her grandmother, Wanda. She graduated from Zeeland High School in 2007 where she was a cheerleader, dancer and violinist all four years. In 2018, she gave birth to her son, Lucian, who was the love of her life. Kassidy had a contagious smile and a generous and loving heart and she will be deeply missed.

Kassidy is preceded in death by her grandfather, James Gordon Bradford Jr., uncles, James Gordon Bradford III and Steven Lee Bradford, and cousin Brody Petre. She is survived by her precious son, Lucian Vaughn Preston, loving parents, Vaughn and Suzanne Aikens, sister, Alyson Hailey Vaughn, grandparents, David and Wanda (Johnson) Aikens and grandmother, Marie (Meewsen) and Charles Rich, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Lakeshore Memorial on Monday, November 20th, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church on Tuesday, November 21st at 1:00 p.m. with a brief visitation beforehand at 12 p.m.
