Jeff and Janet--This week, when we heard the news about Kate, our family reminisced about the good times we had when we were in small group together, years ago.  Our girls have fond memories of swimming in your pool and hanging out with Kate and Joel. We have followed your journey through Connie and have been praying for all of you over the past few years. Our hearts break for you and we will continue lifting you up in prayer.

Janet, Jeff & Joel-We were so sorry to read of Kate's passing! We have so many fond memories of her and your family from our Hidden Hills Ct. days. You were great neighbors and we really enjoyed watching Kate and Joel grow up. Both your kids were always very friendly and respectful. I took the time to read Kate's blog today and was deeply touched by her entries.  They showed humor, genuineness, and a deep faith in our God.  Jeff, Janet, David and family, I am so sorry for your loss but heartened by the fact by knowing that Kate is now enjoying complete healing in the arms of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Praise be to God for that!


We had the pleasure of getting to know Kate at the Wilt Family gatherings.  She & David Were so full of love & energy and Kate fit right in and brought much joy and laughter to the events.   Kate was a very poised, beautiful and genuine young lady.  We consider ourselves fortunate to have known her.  May the Angels welcome Kate to paradise!

I went to High School with Kate and I will always remember how nice she was to me. Every time I saw her it seemed like she was smiling, laughing and having a good time.

I pray you have found rest for your soul in Heaven Kate.

Kate was in my son RJ's class at Ada Christian and GRCH. I remember Kate as such a fun, sweet girl and she will be truly missed. I am so sorry for this unimaginable loss and will keep you all in my prayers.

I would like offer my condolences to the Conzelmann Family!! Her father Jeff was not only my manager at Blodgett Hospital but also a true a friend,and brother in Christ! He was always a proud father with pictures always displayed of his family and his children.

I had the joy of meeting Kate her senior year at GRCHS when I started as an assistant cross country coach. I didn't know her well but always found her to be a kind, welcoming, and joyful girl. So very sad to hear of her passing but praying for hope in the knowledge that she is pain free and in the BEST place.

I have had Kate's graduation picture on my refrigerator since learning of her diagnosis so that I would pray for her whenever I saw her picture. She was a sweet beautiful girl.  My heart breaks for her family and I am praying for God's loving peace for the Conzelmann family.

I work with Jeff and didn't know Kate - sounds like she was an amazing young woman. May the Lord help all of you through this very sad time and also bless you with wonderful memories. My sincere condolences to the Conzelman family and to all who knew and loved her.

Sorry, my prior post didn't load correctly. I have had Kate's graduation picture on my refrigerator ever since I heard of her diagnosis so that I would see her picture and pray for her whenever I saw her picture. I did not know Kate, but I have had the privilege of working with Jeff and hearing of Kate through that connection.  My deepest condolences to Kate's family and friends.  I hope you find comfort in the many memories you've created with Kate. I hope you find peace and comfort in knowing she suffers no more. Kate was always a light...a source of laughter, a big hug, and listening ear. From the soccer field to walking the halls, her contagious laughter and joy flooded the area and people she was around. She was always the first one to see my frustrated state on the soccer field and say "hey it's ok" and give me a smile. I'm grateful for her kindness and joy in the midst of my darkest years. Kate exuded beauty everywhere she went, regardless of what she was doing. And while her beauty was so evident on the outside, her heart was evident in everything that she did. And that is a quality not many people have.

Many years ago, I had the privilege of being Kate's YoungLIfe leader for her first few years at GRCHS. 
She was always energetic, full of spunk, and curiosity; and that is how she will always be remembered.

I did not know Kate, but her Mom and from her blog it sounds like she had a soul that Parallels that of her Mom...angels from the start❤  This is a spirit that touches the lives of others in ways that are unimaginable and forever cherished.  I am so sorry for the heartache that comes with the beautiful blessing of being connected and intertwined with such a beautiful soul.  The kind of human that you want to have on this earth forever❤   for Gods Peace that transcends all understanding.

When Kate and Liz graduated from Ada Christian in 8th grade, I was privileged to be president of the School board and distribute Bibles to each of the graduates just before their diplomas as they walked across the front of the church. When it was Kate's turn, I spontaneously gave her a huge hug and whispered "love you, Kate!" Liz was absolutely mortified and I'm sure Kate was too (although she had the good manners never to say so). But I've never regretted that. Kate has been like a daughter to us, and we sure will miss her walking in our back door and heading straight to the fridge and junk food drawer. But we rest assured that she is once again climbing mountains and swimming in the ocean with her Savior at her side. Love you, Kate.

I am so sorry.  I am crying. She was so young.  I rember teasing her when I told her that I bought her dog for 5 dollers.  She started crying and ran into her house.  I felt horrible as I was just kidding.  

Ann and I hope that she is in a better place and at peace.

I only met her a few times at beautiful you!! But she was my first client and touched my heart  you should be proud of what a wonderful person you raised.  Huge heart and contagious smile!!!

We would like to send our condolences to the family and her extended family.  Her cousins have been very good friends of my children and I"m sure they will be missing her.
