Kelly Jo Leveque

She is survived by her children, Patricia Weesner and Matthew Weesner.

She lived her life always putting others before herself and was a loving and caring person. Kelly Jo was a firefighter for 16 years and was always trying to see the good in things. She was always protecting her family.

A favorite saying of Kelly Jo's was "This too shall pass" and she grew strength from the "Serenity prayer"

"God grant me the serenity

to accept the things I cannot change;

courage to change the things I can;

and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;

Enjoying one moment at a time;

Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;

Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;

Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;

That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him

Forever in the next.

Amen."

A gathering to celebrate her life will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 6pm at Dunton Park, Holland, MI
