Kimberly Kay Reisig-Lager

Kimberly Kay Reisig-Lager,55, of Holland, passed away after a long, courageous battle with ALS, at her home July 19, 2016 with her loving husband, friends and family at her side. She was born the daughter of Donald and Marjorie (Midge) Reisig in Midland on July 18, 1961.

Kim married Steve Lager and has lived in Holland for many years. She retired from a job she loved at Holland Hospital Home Care due to her illness. She leaves her husband, Steve; a son, Jacob Scholten; and a daughter, Jenna Vargo; and two beautiful grandchildren, Aaron and Briann. She also leaves her parents; two loving sisters, Shonda Reisig of Holland,and Lori Kelly of Nashville, TN.; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins of which she was very close. Kim was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, three loving uncles and a young cousin.

Kim was wonderfully cared for by Beth Sands, Aide and niece of her husband Steve, Holland Home Care and Hospice of Holland. We wish to thank all of them for her tentative and loving care.

Honoring Kim's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Friday July 22 at 2-4 p.m. at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland, MI
