Kristen Timmer, age 37 of Holland, passed away after a brief illness on August 19, 2021. Kristen loved tending to flowers, being especially fond of stargazer lilies. She had a soft spot for animals, and would often take long walks with her beloved dog. Her friends and family were incredibly important to Kristen, and she cherished the moments she was with them. Kristen was preceded in death by her grandparents Marvin and Lucille Timmer, and Cornelis and Pietje Doolaard. She is survived by her parents Duane and Nellie Timmer; brother Michael and Kristin Timmer; nephews Aaron and Luke. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Beechwood Church, 895 Ottawa Beach Road, in Holland at 11:00am. The family will greet visitors an hour before services. Memorial contributions may be made to Hudsonville Christian Schools or the Ottawa County Humane Society.
