Lila with tears of missing you my dear sister, I am thankful to God for having known you we shared birthdays and the laughter that everyone enjoyed. I am grateful that we will meet again and share eternity together forever with our Savior Jesus Christ. See you in heaven.

Grandma, 
You have blessed me by being my grandmother, and my best friend.  i will miss our conversations, i will miss our thrift shopping trips and the trips up north with you, i will miss you teaching me things like how to fold towels and sorting clothes to do laundry and tying my shoes.  i will miss our laughs . I will miss you lighting up every room that you walked into.I will miss sitting in the living room watching animal planet and countless episodes of law and order SVU with you, i will miss playing with your hair and coming home after school to kiss your forehead and telling you about my day. Although you may not be here physically, you will forever be in so many peoples hearts and mind. You will forever and always be the most faithful , important, loving, kindhearted, beautiful souled and  humorous woman i have ever known. Rest In Peace up in Heaven Grandma, i know God’s got you❤️ 

My dearest mother in law who I choose to call “mom”. You have been the best gift God gave to me when I chose to marry your son, Sean.  You have shown me that love can grow deep roots with family. In bad times and good times, never dwell on what can’t be changed but instead cherish what God has given to you whether big or small.  Moving away from Arkansas, my whole life, my home, Faith is what I have had to depend on despite of fear.  God knew what his plan was for us and that was to be in Michigan with you and pops! My heart is broken but will heal knowing you are in heaven with Jesus !!  Hallelujah, Amen.  I will forever miss you ! 

My dearest mom, my protector as a little boy my go to parent as an early teen (because I knew you’d ask dad for me about anything I was asking for) and into my more recent years that one I could just call because I wanted to chat or just tell you about a story,  my heart will greatly miss you but will always have you in it, you have always stood by my side and supported me on every decision I’ve ever made and gave the feedback on all the not so smart ones too, I can’t ever repay you for all life’s smiles you provided for me, you will be greatly missed and loved by many mom. Rest in heaven mom your cancer free! Love you so much! 

Lila and i never really had much time to know each other since i have been gone for35 years. Once while visiting. Her mom was there and we three went out shopping. We had such a good time. I found a little treasure that i use a lot. Every time i pick it up, i think of her and how she could laugh at the smallest thing.
    Thank you Lila for being such a good wife for my son.
      Enjoy heaven and seeing you mother again.

I also worked with Lila at Gentex for many years and we ate lunch together. She was always kind and would talk to anyone. She had a heart of gold. She was usually smiling and always laughing or would come up with something to laugh about quite easily.  She was certainly a great person to be around.  May God give you grace as you rejoice that she is no longer suffering and Hope for that day when you will see her again!!  She will be missed!!

My lovely friend were one of a kind. You had a heart of gold and a soul of an Angel.  From the day I meant you, You made me feel so welcomed. Always made me feel at home. My kids loved you from the go. Your smile was contagious, your laughter was heart warming. Your kindness was always there to a friend or stranger. I am glad and thankful I got to know you. Until we see each other again.

My Dear Lila,
We walked together for 33 years.  When we started dating you always worried about the age thing. That I may have been to young for you, or that you were to old for me. During one part of the year we were 8 years apart, at other times we were only 7 years apart.  As I continued to beg you to love me, you finally caved in and your love for me poured from your heart and soul, mind and body. We were partners, best friends, we worked hard to raise a family, we always hoped that our children would be Blessed to find partners and their Best Friends for life as we were. For many years you went to work, come home and fix dinner, wash dishes, laundry, and keep our home clean. You did everything for us unselfishly. When you developed Cancer I wanted to do for you all that you did for me, and for 2 years I did my very best to repay you. Honey I still owe you and will never have the chance to pay it off. When I look over at your empty chair, I feel the emptiness in my heart, but one thing is for sure I will love you forever. My Earth Angel has taken her seat as a Heavenly Angel in the presence of the Almighty  and Merciful God. I hope you all know that my wife Lila loved you all, as we loved each other.  Unconditionally. ❤️❤️❤️

Where do I begin??? We have shared so much, besides a desk thru the years, Skylar and I eating dog biscuits,each paying half for our desk pencil holder, you always telling me "Top of the morning to ya",us sneaking off to have our morning coffee ( hopeing we didn't get caught).These and many more I will always treasure. Rest peacefully, free from cancer and pain, I will never forget you....Thanks for all the memories!!

When Wayne and I visited our daughter and son-in-law, Adrienne and Sean, last year, we received a blessing by meeting Lila and Andy.  The time we spent  with both of you was just like home.
