Louise Ruth Roper

Louise Ruth Roper passed away peacefully on July 13 th , 2026, at the age of 79. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. Louise had a special place in her heart

for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and the love she shared with them will be cherished always.

Louise is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Gene Roper; her daughters, Thea (Steve) Swart and Holly Sprik; her extended children, Delia Beckman, Therese Thompson, Faron Roper, and Gene Roper Jr.; as well as her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

An informal private graveside burial will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens located at 994 Paw Paw Drive Holland, MI 49423 on August 14 th , 2026, at 2:00 PM.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on August 15 th at the VFW Hall located at 506 S. Lincoln Ave Lakeview, MI from Noon–4 PM.

All are welcome to stop by, share memories, offer comfort, and visit with the family as they honor Louise’s life and the love she gave so freely. In lieu of flowers, donations to help with expenses would be deeply appreciated by the family.
