

Lucille Ann Kruithof, born September 27, 1937, passed away at her Zeeland home on Saturday, January 26, 2019, after a battle with congestive heart failure. Lucille loved the Lord, her family, many friends, and the body of Christ.
She was born in Borculo to Lewis and Ann (Vanden Heuvel) Vanden Bosch. In 1955, she married Jerry Kruithof. For 40 years, she owned and operated Lucille’s Motor Coach Tours and enjoyed traveling with her husband, family and many friends.
Lucille was a former member of Bethel Reformed Church in Holland until it closed. She is a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Holland. She was active in church her entire life, teaching Sunday School, singing in the Choir, serving as Youth Leader and on numerous committees.
Preceding her in death, in November 2018, her husband of 63 years, Jerry, her parents, son-in-law, Lloyd DeKoster, brother-in-law, Art Barkel, twin great granddaughters, Maya and Leah Vander Kooi.
She is survived by her children Deb (Jack) Bosch, Diane (Denny) Vander Kooi, Dan Kruithof, Dawn (Michael) Payne, and Dean Kruithof; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Barkel, brother, Bob (Shirley) Vanden Bosch and sister, Barb (Cal) Janssen.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Trinity Reformed Church, 712 Apple Ave., Holland. Rev. Deb Yurk will officiate. Committal service will be held at the church with a lunch to follow.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Reformed Church Adult Ministries or to Spectrum Health Hospice.
