Marie was born in Overisel, MI, to Bert and Hattie Nienhuis on December 9, 1919. She married Earl Nienhuis and together they had five children. She was a member of Maplewood Reformed Church in Holland and loved knitting, crocheting and playing bingo. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her daughter, Sheryl Mae Nienhuis; her sons Paul Nienhuis and Terry Nienhuis.
Marie is survived by her daughters Sharon Langejans of Zeeland and Betty (Scott) Lanxon of Fennville; and by 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4th at 2 p.m. at Lakeshore Memorial Services at 11939 James St. in Holland with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. prior to the service. Rev. Aaron VanDerVeen of Maplewood Reformed Church will be presiding. Burial will be at Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
