Marie Joyce Spoelman

Marie was born December 24, 1941 to Edward and Reka Harsevoort. She graduated from Holland High School in 1959. Marie married Eugene Spoelman on April 28, 1961.

She was a long time member of Faith Reformed Church in Zeeland. Marie worked at Holland Furnace, Haven Park and Herman Miller. When not working or being a fulltime mother, she enjoyed camping, cards, dominos, puzzles and knitting.

Marie is survived by: her sons, Scott (Sandra) Spoelman, David (Diane Krantz) Spoelman and Rodney Spoleman; grandchildren, Michael Spoelman, Sean Spoelman, Eric Spoelman, Olivia (Alex Ely) Spoelman,

Adam Spoelman, Sapphire Spoelman and Trisha Spoelman; great grandchildren, Asher Ely, Louise Spoelman and Josephine Spoelman; siblings, Addie (Larry) Nykamp; in-laws John VanderKooi, Virginia Harsevoort.

Marie was preceded in death by: her parents, Edward and Reka Harsevoort; siblings, Toni (Bill) Strong, Elaine VanderKooi, Alvin (Lois) Harsevoort and Gary Harsevoort.

A visitation for Marie will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland, Michigan 49424. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM, 11939 James St., Holland, Michigan 49424. A burial will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 994 Paw Paw Drive, Holland, Michigan 49423.
