Marion Jay Tamminga

Marion “Bud” J. Tamminga, age 85, of Fennville, MI formerly of Holland, MI, passed away at home and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2017. He was born in 1932 in Sioux Center, Iowa to William and Cora Tamminga.

Preceding him in death were his parents, wife Henrietta Tamminga, step mother Jessie Tamminga, brothers and sisters Willard (Connie) Tamminga, Clarence (Edna) Tamminga , Juella (Ed) Keller, Ken DeNeff, Beatrice Schutt and Jim Tamminga, in-laws Bernard (Grace) Diekevers and Merle Pluger.

He is survived by his children Beth (Daniel) Pichler, John Tamminga, and Nathan Tamminga; grandchildren Kathryn (Steven) Burmeister and David Pichler; great grandchild Jack Burmeister; brothers and sisters Henry (Joyce) Tamminga, Carla Tamminga, Alice DeNeff, Lillian (Martin) Chrispell, William (Beverly) Tamminga, Karla Tamminga, and Ray (Ann) Schutt; in-laws Wilma Pluger, Hank and Marilyn Diekevers and Don and Leslie Diekevers; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral and committal services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St. in Holland with Rev. Steven Smallegan officiating. Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
