Marjorie was born in Holland and was a life-long resident of the area. She graduated from Holland High School and worked at Western Union prior to becoming a full-time mother. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Jay, and her brothers Alan Fuder and Verne Fuder. She is survived by her children Steven (Donna) Barendse of Zeeland, Julie (Richard) Nesting of Everett, Washington, Michael (Julie) Barendse of Zeeland, Timothy (Krista) Barendse of Spring Lake; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and her brother Dr. Edwin (Joan) Fuder.
A private service for immediate family was held Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Lakeshore Memorial Funeral Home. Burial is in Graafschap Cemetery.
