Mark graduated from Alpena High School and later married Jenny Bell on August 28, 1982. Together they shared 44 years of marriage, years marked by steady devotion, deep family ties, and the kind of everyday faithfulness that quietly shaped a life.
Mark retired from driving truck, a career that reflected his dependable nature and pride in honest work. Away from the road, he found joy in the outdoors and in the simple pleasures he loved most: hunting, fishing, and his big trucks. He was also a loyal fan of the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Wings, supporting his teams with the same steadfast spirit he brought to all he cared about.
Mark is survived by his wife, Jenny Partyka; sister, Mary; brothers, Mike and Mitch; and his mother-in-law, Patricia Hanson. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim (Nat) Bell, Kirk (Nancy) Bell, Cheryl Coleman, and Deanna Bell; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norm and Joanne Partyka; and sister, Marge.
A Celebration of Life will take place in the future.
