Mike graduated from Saugatuck High School. Mike worked as a chef in many area establishments, and had a passion for cooking. He was a member of the Salvation Army, where he served as the kitchen manager for a few years. Mike loved cars, and took great pride in his Camaro. In his spare time, he enjoyed movies, games, and reading. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Eleanor Borst, grandmother Pauline Syre, and brother-in-law Larry Taylor.
He is survived by his sister, Tracy Taylor;
Many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews;
And many loving friends.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at a later date.
