Nancy Karen Csaszar, aged 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 16, 2024, at Medilodge in Holland, Michigan. Born on March 20, 1947, in Traverse City, Michigan, Nancy was the beloved daughter of Harold and Florence Overby.
Nancy attended Wayne Memorial High School, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavors. She later dedicated her career to General Motors, where she held a distinguished management position. Known for her leadership and dedication to her team, Nancy made a lasting impact in her professional endeavors.
Beyond her career, Nancy deeply cared for her family, including her daughter Melissa Stanford and her husband Michael Stanford, as well as her son Alex Csaszar and his wife Nicole Csaszar. Family was important to Nancy, and she found joy in spending time with her loved ones.
Nancy’s warm heart and caring nature endeared her to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and the countless individuals whose lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Melissa Stanford, her son-in-law Michael Stanford, her son Alex Csaszar, her daughter-in-law Nicole Csaszar, her beloved grandchildren Elizabeth Shumaker and her husband Joshua Shumaker, Leah Stanford, and Max Stanford, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren Oliver Shumaker and Emilia Shumaker.
Nancy is also survived by her sisters Arlene O’Brien, Yvonne Sadler, and Betsy Houdek, and her brother Germaine “Sonny” Overby.
At this time, no service is planned.
Though Nancy has left this world, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, knowing she made a profound impact on the world around her.
