Norma J Gebben

Norma was born December 12, 1931, the daughter of John and Petrinella Beltman. In the early 1950’s she married Howard Gebben and together they were blessed with 5 children and nearly 50 years of marriage until his death in 2001. Norma was a member of First Reformed Church in Zeeland were she taught Sunday school and the Special Education Ministries. She enjoyed her flowers, her grandchildren, and working outside. She was a strong-willed, kind, caring, compassionate woman of God. She will be deeply missed.

Norma is survived by: her children, Barb (John) Foote, Mary Gebben, Robert Gebben, Lois (Carl) Jager, and Ruth Gebben; grandchildren, Adria, Andrew (Abigail), Aaron (Pam), Amy (Tim), Holly (Jeremy), Tim (Amber), and Michael (Julie); 19 great grandchildren; sister, Jerene Steed; sister-in-law, Alma Beltman; and several nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by: her husband, Howard Gebben; granddaughter, Alicia Foote; sister, Shirley Beltman; brother, Harold Beltman; brother-in-law, Robert Steed.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 2, 2021 at First Reformed Church of Zeeland 125 East Lincoln Street, Zeeland, with Pastor Josh Wall officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 4-7 pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Education Ministries of First Reformed Church of Zeeland.
