Patricia passed peacefully to her heavenly home, barefoot in the sand on December 31, 2016 with a smile on her face. She was a member of Christ Memorial Church and also First Reformed Church of Holland, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her first husband William Slagh and their two sons Kevin and Scott. Honoring Scott’s wishes, his passing was withheld publically until his mother’s passing. Also preceding her was her second husband Les Housel, from Jackson Michigan.
Patricia is survived by her children Michael Slagh of Sarasota, FL, Laurie Slagh Karsten of Zeeland, Paula and Scott DeVries of Saugatuck, daughter in law Denise Skeens Slagh along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial celebration for both Patricia and Scott has been planned on Saturday, January 14 at Lakeshore Memorial Services on James Street in Holland with visitation from 1-3 pm with a short service at 3 pm.
