Ronald L. Bareman

June 17, 1937January 8, 2021

Ronald Lee Bareman peacefully entered into the everlasting arms of Jesus Christ his Lord and Sav-ior on Friday, January 8th at the age of 83. He was born in Holland, Mi on June 17,1937 to Martin and Martha Bareman.

Ron will be remembered for his soft gentle nature and unspoken generosity. He was a quiet man of great faith with a quick smile and an infectious laugh. Being an avid golfer, a really good day for Ron would be watching the sun go down after spending the day on the golf course with friends or family. However, nothing made him light up more than his wife of 63 years Luella (Lundy) whom he adored. He was happiest when they were surrounded by their children: Doug (Judy) Bareman, Lori (Brian) Holt, Grandchildren: Stephanie (Mike) DuMez, Jeff Bareman, Samantha (Matthew) Lybarger and 11 great grandchildren.

Being a self-made man, Ron owned and operated Northgate TV from 1963 to 1978. At that point he joined the family business of Bareman’s Dairy and retired at the age of 62. Ron and Lou en-joyed many winters in Lakeland Florida surrounded by countless friends.

He is survived by his wife Lou, 2 children, 3 grandchildren,11 great-grandchildren, and siblings, Phyllis (Robert) Dykstra, Janice (Paul) Van Dyke, Sandra (Charles) DenUyl and sister-in-law Alyce Bareman. Ron was preceded in death by parents Martin and Martha Bareman, brothers Ronald Dale and Stanley Hugh.

The time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:6b—8

The family will be having a private service at a later time.

Our dear dear friend for many years, you were missed at the Christmas tablet this year and will be for many years. You are truly a wonderful person, so patient when trying to teach me about the computer. Love and miss you my friend. Our loss is God's gain.

Anytime we were fortunate to fellowship with you two, but in this case I am remembering our last visit in Charlevoix. Several of us went out to Jacks restaurant. We shared stories, memories and of course plenty of laughs. You two were always so kind to and loved our little Mosey boy. You were particularly enjoying how much he got excited going out to eat. Wish I did have a photo to share of that day. Ron always displayed my two favorite traits kindness & humility! I hope you can feel my prayers, love, and warm embrace. Until we hug again .. "Whatever side of Heaven it be!"

I will always remember the times that we spent with Uncle Ron. His smile and hugs that he always had for me. The many times they came to East Jordan and never failed to contact us so we could see them. He will be missed.
