Roy Edward Morris

Roy was born in Holland and graduated from Holland High with the Class of 1950. He served in the Army, worked for the Michigan Department of Transportation, was Maintenance Manager at Camp Geneva, and was a self-employed painter. Roy was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and a former member of Beechwood Reformed Church, where he was an Elder and a member of the Choir. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Walter Morris, his siblings Alfred Morris, Nelson Morris, and Gladys Lumbert, and his dear wife Norma Jean Morris.

Roy is lovingly remembered by his children, Lauren Dennison and Marilyn Gritter, Jon and Kathy Morris, and Tracy Morris; grandchildren Devon and Joseph Corbett, Joshua Morris, and Lisette Morris and Alyssa Miles; great-grandchildren Madisyn Dennison and Bentley Youngs.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00am at Grace Episcopal Church, 555 Michigan Ave, in Holland.
